I have been going crazy lately when I would click on a c2d file CC would open and nothing would appear. Well I have v6 and v7 installed and Windows 11 and in its infinite wisdom was opening c2d files with v6. I finally snapped to this fact and went in and told Windows 11 to open c2d files with v7. Now when I clicked on a c2d file from v7 and clicked on open with there were just two Carbide Creates with no version. So I guessed and picked the second one and now my c2d files open in v7. I dont usually open files that way but the option is there if I want it.
In case you have not tried v7 files opened in v6 dont work. However v6 opened in v7 work fine. You have to save the file to get the v7 format.
