New user here, so be gentle…I have made several adjustments to a file that I have been working on (have the Shapeoko 5 Pro) and each time I try to save the file, it disappears, making me start over on the edit. No matter what I try, it will not save, making me run the entire program (and wasting time), rather than marking the “done” parts out to skip them. I’m so frustrated at this point that I don’t know how to fix it. I checked that I am running the latest version (Carbide Create, Build 815), and have tried saving it to my desktop to see if that changes anything, but no go. Looking for a little guidance here. Thanks.
Check the file revision, you are using V8. If its a V6 file it will need to be saved in V7 then to V8.
If you can, upload the file here, so we can take a look at it. You could also contact Support (mailto:support@carbide3d.com) telling them about the problem, and including the file.
Where are you saving the file? Using what filepath? What name?
What happens if you save using only ASCII characters for filepath and filename?
