Carbide motion 563 no longer requests turn on router

With bitsetter, or not, carbide motion 563 allows for a bit change, then begins.
Worse with bitsetter, once it determines the height, it immediately starts.

What’s up?

thanks

Did you enable the checkbox for BitRunner?

Do you have a BitRunner?

Note that you can use CM w/ a BitRunner and it will still work if you clear the checkbox for it — you just get the prompts in addition to the spindle turning on/off.

I do have a bitRunner.

If I don’t check the enable,

Z raised and requested to insert tool.
Click Resume
Shapeoko 3 immediately (and correctly) begins cutting contours until end.

If I check enable
initialize machine moves forward center and requested to insert tool.
Resume moves and depresses bitsetter.
Moves to center for jogging to origin.

Start job repeats same
initialize machine moves forward center and requested to insert tool.
Resume moves and depresses bitsetter.
Moves to center and pauses (NO REQUEST TO START ROUTER)
After few second pause, begins cutting

I note again, all cutting seems spot on.

thanks

There is also check box for automatic spindle control if you have BitRunner. See if that box is checked. It was in second tab on configuration. Dont have access right now to cm to see where they have that still where it was in newer versions. If you dont have BitRunner uncheck to see if you get prompt back.

Edit:. Fired up cm and in 563 the second tab has pull down

Carbide Compact Router

Carbide Compact Router+BitRunner

VFD Spindle

Likely c3d router only if you dont have BitRunner. See if your prompt for router power returns.
