Carbide Motion Firmware

I have a shapeoko I haven’t used in quite some time that I’m trying to get running again, but Carbide Motion complains that the grbl version is too old.

I found this page, but the download links are broken: https://docs.carbide3d.com/support/carbideupdater/#overview

Does anyone know where I can find a more recent firmware file that I can flash? Also, do I really have to buy and install limit switches or can I do it without? If I do need them, where can I buy them?

The PCB version is 1.2.

In order to use a current Carbide Motion you’ll need to update and install homing switches. Contact us at support@carbide3d.com and we’ll work that out with you.

If you wish to forego homing switches you can stay on Grbl 0.9 and use Carbide Motion 3 which is available at:
