Carbide Motion Paused bug?

Whenever I pause a Run, I can’t get back to the Run window. Nor do the Jog commands work. Is this a known issue?

I’m running build 521.

Did you mean you can’t get back to the “Jog” window ?

This is on purpose, this is how the Pause works in GRBL, it is intended to be used as a temporary stop of the G-code file execution, but upon restart GRBL will plunge back and resume where it left. Allowing the user to jog around while paused would create a series of potential issues interfering with that logic.

What is your usecase for needing to jog during Pause ?

I forgot to re-zero the Z and plunged my bit too deep into my stock, and needed to lift the router to remove the bit. I suppose I should have pressed Stop after Pause.

However, I believe there is still the bug: after pausing, if you navigate to the Jog window, you can’t get back to the Run window.

Thanks for reporting, I agree it’s confusing if one is able to switch to the Jog tab when Paused (and not be able to come back to un-pause).
