Carbide Motion Stops Mid Cut

Just ran into an issue where Carbide Motion randomly stops. Ive been using the XXL for about a year and this is the first its happened. Everything looks OK on the motion screen. The router is still running but it just stops. Trying to troubleshoot, I hit the pause button and the router just stays there. The router doesnt return to the top of the Z axis. The Start, Stop, and Pause button are all greyed out.

Any thoughts?

I powered down the CNC and started it back up. I reran the cut. This time it stopped about 1 minute into the carve. Carbide Motion responds the same as it did the first time.

Just Sent the email. What does EMI stand for?

Electro Magnetic Interference - static electricity is the most likely culprit

I have a big dust collector separate from CNC and noticed when that’s on the CNC stops. So far running smoothly when not using it. A pain but at least working.
