Carbide Motion V6 not prompting me to change bits

I am doing a simple test file with two tool paths one using a 1/16 mill bit and the second tool path using a 1/8 mill bit, created in carbide create V3. after completing the first tool path Carbide Motion is not promoting me to change bits.

Two related questions:

  1. v3 is suuuuuper old, any reason you’re not using one of the later versions?
  2. Is there an option in v3 to select a particular post processor/machine to export gcode for?

When you select Gcode there is no option to select a machine I think the next version is pro and you have to purchase it. What version are you using?

Is there “Edit | Select Post-processor”?

Yes there is under edit, I selected carbide 3D shapeoko, maybe that will fix the issue?
