Any help is appreciated. When I try to run carbide create I get a message saying “This app cant run on your PC”. I have a surface pro running windows 10 and it is a 64-bit. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall, made sure I was set as the administrator and right clicked and ran as administrator from the icon as well. Also tried version 608 and got the same message as well.
No errors like missing .DLL files?
Windows never really uninstalls everything, highly likely to be some remnants.
Try running some clean-up programs like Revo Uninstaller for example.
no errors. just used revo to uninstall, no luck on trying it again. below is what I get when i try to start it.
Is your Win10 set to only run trusted applications from the windows store maybe?
Or, are you on Windows S or on an Arm-based machine like a Surface X?
It’s Arm, I’m on a surface x
Carbide Create and Motion are both built for Intel, not Arm. Create is 64-bit and Motion is 32-bit. Based on my understanding of the Surface X, 32-bit apps should run with the Microsoft Intel->Arm translation layer but 64-bit apps won’t run on a Surface X until Microsoft updates the software.
