"Carbidemotion has stopped working"

Apologies if this was covered in a previous thread but this may also be a little different. Out of nowhere on Feb. 2, 2023 I went to load a Gcode file into Carbide Motion when it was uploading, the program crashed. I checked with Support and they told me to create a “new user account on my laptop…” Since the project wasn’t very complex, I just recreated it, saved a new Gcode. I was able to load the new file, which began cutting but 2 minutes into the carving, Carbide Motion crashed. I’m running Carbide Create v6.0 and Carbide Motion v5.0.564. Can someone advise what I need to do to resolve this? I’m sorry if I sound like a jerk but I will not accept the solution requiring me to make a new user account on my laptop. That’s just stupid! Am I supposed to do that anytime I have a problem with these platforms? I’ve used the Shapeoko Pro XL on a total of 5 projects in the last 9 months I’ve owned it. When I bought it in May of '22 I had nothing but issues with it. It arrived with a completely unprogramed controller. Not even mentioning every wire lable had slipped off so setup was a bear. Sorry for the rant but I’m not digging my expereincethis first year.

Wow. I got my XXL PRO in May of '22 and have had a great experience with it, Support, and this Forum. This doesn’t help you, but wow just the same.

SOLVED (for now). Last night I uninstalled both CarbideCreate and CarbideMotion. I installed the latest version of CarbideCreate “v7” and re-installed Carbide motion, which was still v5. This allowed me to upload my new project in Carbide Motion and it ran the whole project successfully. I hope this is a long-term fix.
