CC (Mac) quits unexpectedly - again!

Hmm. Carbide Creat seems to be crashing more often, when clicking New or loading existing files - again!

Thank you

File attached, sorry:

Petes Stock Boxes.c2d (2.2 MB)

Steps are:

Open CC, load this file, click “New” and CC crashes, click one of the Recent files and CC crashes.

I think it’s this file, though, rather than CC, as others seem to be OK.

If possible, please provide a file or step-by-step set of instructions which consistently and repeatably cause a crash.

Carbide3d will address your problem. I run windows 10 and same version of cc. If I new or open existing file after opening cc all good. If I then save and open existing file 50/50 chance cc will quit. If I am lucky and save and open 3rd file almost 100 percent cc will quit.

What I have done to work around is to quit cc and reopen for each file I open and/or save. I dont always need to open a second file but if I do this is a pain but less painful than crashing and possibly corrupting my file.

C3D will eventually fix this but in the meantime I just work around.
