Change default tool depth in toolpath Carbide Create Pro

Mine defaults to 13.005mm. I would like to change it to 1mm. Is there a way to do this?

Create your own folder in the tool library and create your tweaked version of the tool.

Where are you seeing this?

It should be 0.1in (2.54mm) if I understand what you are asking after:

Thank y’all for taking time for me. I’m seeing it in the “Max Depth (D)” edit box. Is there a way to change the default?

Maybe edit the .ini file for preferences?

Could not find an ini file. Turned on hidden files and folders. Great idea…

Mine is at:

C:\Users\willa\AppData\Local\Carbide 3D\Carbide Create\settings.ini

there are three entries for depth — if one has 13.005 assigned to it, try editing that.
