Okay I am getting ready to change from a windows computer to an Apple to run my machine. When I down load the software to the Apple I will have to redo all the machine settings I’m guessing. So is there anything special I need to do?
Resending the configuration (it also sets up Carbide Motion on the computer for the machine) covers it — if you’ve customized any settings you’ll need to resend them.
Don’t understand resending. I thought I have to re install carbide creat and carbide motion for Apple.
Yes, you’ll need to install the two applications on the new machine, you’ll also have to resend the configuration for your machine per:
and for Carbide Create you’ll have to do Edit | Select Post Processor and choose “Carbide 3D Shapeoko” (or do so the first time you generate G-Code).
These things are necessary to configure the computer to match the machine.
