Hi everyone. Haven’t been around in a while but I’ve been making plenty with my Shapeoko. Just the original, not supersized, working great for me.
BUT, I’m getting a little more into isolation routing of printed circuit boards. I’ve found that a 0.8mm down cut bit cuts very cleanly and unlike the up cut, doesn’t create much of a burr that has to be fixed. Unfortunately, it is too large for some of the finer detail so I’m going to try to use engraving bits (which are on the way).
But I suspect the burr will return, and I wonder if people have any suggestions for cleaning these burrs up? I can sand them but hate to think of all the copper I’m losing in doing so.
I figured I’d ask the question here as I know some of you are masters at this.
Thanks in advance for any tips.
