Clicking Noise Z-Axis use Shapeoko 3 with Z-Plus

I am having problem with the Z-Axis when jogging to set zero. I’m using the latest Carbide Motion version. Moving down, at a certain Z height, machine starts clicking and won’t move any farther. I can go back up and the clicking goes away. Any ideas?

How low are you trying to go?

Which Z-axis did you configure for?

Anything mechanically interfering?

Post a photo?

Lower the Z-axis?

thanks for the reply - no obstructions that I can find. What do you mean by lower the Z-Axis?

Z-Axis clicking - as low as it will go
Z-Axis clicking - as low as it will go1920×2560 308 KB

Maybe you need to lube the Z-Plus bearings?
