I’ve read about closing vectors but can seem to figure it out. I need to close the diagonal vectors to run a vcarve toolpath. Can I get an explanation on how this happens?
Thanks in advance

I need to leave the stock square at the bottom since I’ll be making dovetails. The diagonals were going to be etched about .020 with a v vit
If the open vector lines are just decorative just assign a No Offset contour tool path .020" deep with a v-bit.
In that case, use the original file, leave the vectors open, and just assign a No Offset Contour Toolpath:
Note that there are two extra bits of geometry off to the side:
which should be deleted.
