CM RPM Popup with C3D VFD Spindle on Shapeoko

Is there a way to suppress this popup for a C3D spindle equipped Shapeoko? The G code sets the RPM for you, the message is not needed.

I never get that pop up message. I do have a BitRunner with a router and not a spindle but I never get a popup about the speed. I am running the latest CM on Windows 11. So in the configuration I have the automatic router control checked.

My mistake, I meant to say C3D VFD Spindle in the original post.

That’s weird, I have the C3D spindle/VFD and I don’t get that message. Did you configure the VFD in the settings?

It just showed up when I when I started using CM 617 BETA.

I too installed CM 617 today… and this popup is annoying as it’s not needed with a VFD controlled spindle. As Ed said, the gcode contains the commands to set the speed , start and stop the spindle. This makes sense for the manual router, not for a spindle with VFD control.
Even if you go back to the wizard and make sure it’s not checked… the popup still show up !

Whew!!! Kinda glad someone else noticed this, I was beginning to think it was just me.

Same here. I’ve tried setting up my Motion as if I had a router, unchecked “Show popups on RPM change”, saved, switched to VFD spindle, saved again, and it still hasn’t removed them.

OK, so weirdly, it’s working properly now. Maybe it didn’t save the “show popups” option the first time I tried it. I just had cause to switch to a router for a job, and switch back to the spindle and this time the popup doesn’t happen.
