CM V6 - Improvement List

Looks like V6 is official? I can’t seem to find any info regarding improvements over V5. Does anyone know where I can find a comprehensive list of updates?

Is the update to V6 worthwhile? The few threads that do come up regarding this new version make me feel like there are still quite a few bugs that need fixing, and folks are looking to revert back to V5.

Any insight is greatly appreciated.

It got moved to Stable a while back.

The biggest change is the Setup Wizard and the ability to differentiate machines, so one can swap a computer from controlling one Shapeoko to a different model and a different configuration will be used.

New features:

Thanks for the quick reply, Will!
Referencing the beta thread Rob had created a few months back - could I assume that the list of features he mentioned in the first post to be included in this new release?

The download page doesn’t have the PI build. Is that fully baked?

Yes, all of that is in there (and I should have thought to link that thread for further details).

No word yet on an RPi release.
