CNCCAT Automatic Tool Changing System

Hello All,

This would not be used on the Shapeoko, but I was wondering if anyone had experience with the CNCCAT Tool Changer that is meant to be mounted on to a 1.5Kw Spindle, I saw one thread here that an individual used it, was just curious if anyone else had any experience with it. I’m in the process of planning out my next machine and I am thinking that would be a welcome addition to it.

As it’s not for a Shapeoko, might I suggest you look at Stepcraft?

They supply milling motors and compatible tool-changers.

@NewToThis I will definitely take a look at the Stepcraft machines, you are actually the second person to suggest them.
