So i just purchased a used Nomad after selling mine a couple years ago, and the collet is impossible to remove, im literally hurting my hands trying to remove it. I sprayed it with some dw40 and let it sit for a bit, but nothing. If you offered me a million dollars to remove the collet, i would loose a million dollars lol, any ideas? I have no clue what to do next!
Nut already removed, and the collet won’t come out of the nut, or can’t get the nut off?
Maybe try loosening it rather than tightening.
Or they sent you the Aussie version. Try to tighten to take off… maybe it’s reversed like the toilet…
Haha just kidding, I’m sure your doing it right. Just figured it would warrant a laugh…
Finally got it off, just let it sit with a bit of wd40 and it worked.
