When I use the dropdown and try to copy a shape, it just does nothing. Am I missing something or is it not working correctly??
The copy functionality has changed from the offset duplicate which it used to be (that functionality is now available under ctrl d) — ctrl c now copies into memory and one can paste copies using ctrl v — this pastes where the cursor is – if the cursor is not in the window, then the copy goes over the original, duplicating it in place.
