Cut not matching design simulation

I’m using my Shapeoko for the first time to cut holes in 2mm aluminum plate. I’m starting by just doing a single hole. I am using Fusion 360 for designing.

In Fusion 360 the simulation of the cuts are perfect. But when I run the job on the Shapeoko the bit never reaches the surface of the plate. The Z dimensioning is off for some reason.

Attached is the .nc file I’m loading in CC.

Usually this sort of thing is caused by a disconnect in how you have defined the origin in your file and how you are setting zero relative to the stock.

Origin is literally 0,0,0 in the design. Do I need to set the zero to the same as the origin, or 2mm less than than what the BitZero detects?

You are defining your WCS origin in Fusion at the bottom of the stock and cutting down TO zero. Then in real life, you’re setting your Z-zero at the top of your stock.
In F360, move the WCS origin to a point on TOP of your stock.
