Cutout tool path success

Let’s ignore the fact that I didn’t specify the correct thickness of stock for a moment. :grimacing:

I used the cutout tool path for the first time and it worked as expected and I had no issues with this project this time. I used an up cut bit for the profile so there is some sanding.

In setup in CC I use bottom of material almost 100% of the time. My spoilboard has very few scars and my projects almost never have an onion skin left at the bottom. Very nice cross.

Thanks Guy. I used bottom of material but had the material set up as 1/2” instead of 3/4”. Oh well. Thanks.

If I’m not mistaken, with a Zero Height set to Bottom in CC and setting zero on the spoil board in CM it should have cut through the stock. What was the Breakthrough set at in the Cutout Tool Path?
