Cutting issues with straight cuts

I have problem with cutting, if I cut a circle for example it leaves a small bump where the cutter steps in for the next pass. This happens even when there are no steps just a straight downwards cut.

Which machine?

What tooling?

What material?

At what feeds and speeds?

Could you provide a photo and the matching .c2d file?

Another consideration is Climb vs. Conventional Milling and tooling engagement — where possible avoid slotting and add geometry and cut as a pocket

and/or

and consider leaving a roughing clearance and taking a finishing pass.
