I want to cut 35 inch long parts out of a 96 inch board to limit waste. I’ll be doing this on a SO 5 Pro when I get it. Any sound help is appreciated.

I should have said three 32 inch parts from an 8 foot board. I understand I can insert the board east to west for cutting the first end and then turn it around 180 degrees and continue cutting. How do I do that?

Do you have outfeed or other tables which can support the board length which doesn’t fit on the machine?
Yes I do. Currently at 72 inches, but extendable.
Prop up the boards on the outfeed tables, clamp it on the machine, and cut?
Might be easier to make suggestions if you provide more details on what you’re making.
Also, if your stock is truly 8ft, you won’t get three 32" pieces. You’ll have to go a bit smaller.
