Deeper cuts on left side

Hi all,

All of a sudden we’re getting deeper cuts on the left side of our signs and very little depth on the right side. Planks are not bowed in any way and lie flat on the waste board.

Thoughts…?

Sorry for stating the obvious, but have you looked to see of the bottom of the cutter is the same distance from the stock on the left- and right-hand side of it?

If the waste board and stock are flat to each other, it must be where the cutter is in relation to the stock - unless the stock isn’t flat on the top!

Is the problem consistent with the numbering? It’s not clear from the photo.

1.Tram the router, 2. mill the table flat, 3. ensure that the stock is parallel.

4. Make sure the endmill did not get pushed up into the collet.

5. Surface the stock before running the vcarve op (i.e. one way to ensure 3.)
