This is the design:
The toolpath is going to hollow out the space between the two slightly-curved lines (it’s a curved dado in the end grain of a table leg to wrap around a curved apron).
Theres a limit on the number of triangles that we generate for rendering to keep the video drivers from crashing. So the bigger the stock, the bigger the triangles (and less detail).
Each year we bump up the triangle count, figuring the average computer has gotten better.
Is it like a danger to a machine if you were to give us a lil slider in a menu somewhere to use our higher end machines where the default would be the minimum (current) value?
