I thought I knew what an open vector is…but now I’m confused.
If I draw squares, circles, polygons, etc. using those standard tools and then choose Select->Select Open Vectors, they all get selected (631). In fact, the only object that doesn’t get selected are those created with the polyline tool.
Result of Select Open Vectors
Is that correct behavior? If so, what is the definition of an “Open Vector”?

That is a bug.
Open vectors should be those which have an opening/are unclosed and are indicated so by being magenta:

OK…that’s what I thought originally. Then I’d like to report a bug. I don’t know what version it was introduced in…but it’s in 631.
EDIT: Should I change the name of the thread to indicate a defect?

I was able to replicate this — we’ll see what the developers can do about it when they get a chance.

OK…I was able to reproduce it back to at least 628 (the oldest installation I have)…so this is not new.
