Dimensions needed for custom made fixture

New to the forum but not the machining world. Learning how this forum works.

Ok, now on to the question. I’d like to make a holding jig that will replace the spoil board. I need the dimensions of the holes in the tabletop to make that aluminum jig. Where can I find those dimensions? Thanks in advance for any help.

regards,
Bernd

@WillAdams

Will, thank you very much. Exactly what I needed and was looking for. Much appreciated.

Also check out Saunders Machine Works plate if you’re interested in a more flexible work holding solution. Though if you’ve got the capability to machine your own I suppose it’s just leaving money on the table.

@HeuristicBishop

Thanks for the info. I have got sort of a small machine shop in the basement. I have a Bridgeport and 10" logan lathe so am capable of making my own jigs and fixtures. Also what helps was the over 30 years in the machine tool industry and a high interest in anything mechanical.

Edited to add: Just signed up for e-mail for Saunders Machine Works.

Bernd
