finally got Motion 431 up and running after fighting with updating my ancient mac… much improved!
but… can we please have an option to disable the “turn your spindle on/off” messages?
one of the first things i did was find this forum and instructions to put in a spindle relay, which makes this message a little redundant…
Carbide Motion’s configurability is not its strong suit (which I can understand: that would give new users even more new creative ways to do things the wrong way, and then support would have to figure out which of the hundreds of configuration combinations applies).
So until this feature request is processed you are probably better off switching to a different G-code sender ?
Or, wait until C3D releases its own spindle option, and then that message will go away
