Basically yes, as a starting point. It machines better than most hardwoods though so there is more margin for pushing feeds and speeds further

I will note that this depends on the sort of bamboo — I have some treated bamboo flooring which is incredibly tough and wants a shallow depth of cut and reduced feed rate and speed to reduce the cutting forces to reduce deflection.
Yeah I was referring to the “Ikea” variety
