Quick question I’m sure yall can help me with, and or make sure I’m correct.
If I’m cutting a double sided sign out of a 12x12” board. All I need to do is make sure I have the exact same 90’ corner (x&y). If I flip it over from side A it will cut the same pattern on side B at the same place. Also on side B i can cut althe way through the board and it will be the same on both side. Correct - no- did I miss something?
Using carbide create free and shapeoko 5pro.

If the stock is perfectly square/sides are perfectly parallel, then what you describe will work.
If not, any angular deviation will migrate out from how things file to line up from the origin working out.
