First, draw up one indentation for paint β guessing at dimensions, so 1" x 1" w/ a 1/8" radius:
Then use Linear Array:
to make as many copies as are desired:
adjusting spacing as desired
OK
Select everything and offset by the desired area around the palette area:
Apply
Delete that and use the dimensions of the offset to create a rectangle:
and round it off as desired:
Add holes for the magnets at the corners:
and duplicate them:
and mirror into position at other corners:
Duplicate the magnets and the perimeter:
Drag into alignment:
and nudge up enough to allow the two parts to be cut out of a board:
Adjust Job Setup:
and draw in the area for the paper:
Then set up toolpaths:
Start with a pocket for the paper area:
Then do pockets for the paint areas:
and drill holes for the magnets:
(assuming 1/4" diameter 3mm thick magnets)
Select the two perimeters:
and offset by tool diameter plus 10%:
Apply
and select the offset and the perimeters:
and cut as a pocket down to tab height:
Lastly, select only the perimeters and cut out:
