Emergency Return Button

Has there ever been any consideration about adding the option to install an “Emergency Return Button” on the Shapeoko 3?

Many industrial pieces of machining equipment have such a button that can be quickly depressed in the event a tool breaks during the machining process. Depressing this button immediately stops the current machining cycle and sends the (spindle or head) back to the home position.

Donnie,

I would not use a machine without an emergency button. Please spend the $6 and install one. I used an old small extension cord, (so that I could place the button at the best location) wired into a power strip. Works great!
