I’ve noticed that when you use a CC provided tool, the dialog that comes up to request you install the tool displays (in Carbide Motion) the tool number and on a new line the name of the tool (McFly).
I have a bunch of Amana bits I’ve put in the database, and when the loading dialog comes up it shows the bit number, but not any other information.
Question is: Is it possible to have more information displayed in the bit loading dialog, and if so, how does one go about doing this?

No, at this time, all that goes through is the tool number.
As @WillAdams stated there are no tool description for custom tools. I have a list of my custom tools on an adhesive label I put on my SO3. Some of my custom tools are not used very often so the list helps make sure I put the correct tool in.
