I recently upgraded my original Shapeoko Pro 5 to the 5.1 Pro with the upgrade kit, table legs, and the monitor mount. After searching around Amazon and not seeing anything I liked, I took a shot at this monitor arm and laptop mount/tray from Ergotron. I wanted something that wasn’t going to interfere or get close to the Y rail. It was pricey for what I wanted to spend, but it does have a lot of adjustments and appears well built. All of the adjustments are smooth.
It clears the Y rail and my cables. I didn’t notice any movement when the machine was doing a spindle warmup.
