Error during homing process

While I await a return email from support, Im wondering if any of you have had this pop up on Your Shapeoko 5 pro?
There was an error during the homing process:

Carbide Motion was unable to move off of the homing switches. There could be a hardware problem or something keeping the machine from moving.

If you did experience this, was it a hardware problem or is this something I can fix. I just want to use this machine lol!! I haven’t been able to cut anything yet! #new-to-cnc

We have information on the error codes at:

https://my.carbide3d.com/faq/error-codes/

and see:

https://my.carbide3d.com/docs/troubleshooting-homing/

Usually, watching the machine carefully one can get an idea of what has gone wrong and how it might need to be addressed — post a video?

Support will work through this with you as soon as possible.

Perfect-thank you

Encountered this problem last night, well consistently. Had seen it on occasion here and there before. After diagnosing I found that coupler at the end of my right side ball screw was loose, allowing the ball screw to turn independent of the motor. Y axis was still moving but it appeared to be that the left side was carrying/dragging the right side along and the right was never hitting the switch. Tightened up the set screw on the coupler and all was well. Makes me wonder if those random homing errors I was seeing here and there were because of this.
