Error message with CutRocket

I have tried to download several projects form cut rocket and I get this error message every time,

The selected file could not be loaded:

/Users/shopcnc2026/Downloads/projects-4/629fd50f6186e/629fd50f6186e_629fd8ea63bb5.c2d

Am I doing something wrong? I am brand new to CNC machines, I understand the learning curve is very steep but somethings should be easy!!

as requested on support… I am trying to download the Marine Corps Eagle Globe and Anchor (USMC Catchall) from the organization tab on CutRocket but it is not loading into CarbideMotion would you be able to fix this? Follow Will’s advice. Download V7 and open & save the project. Now you can open it in V8
