Error - reply from auth command is not the correct length

I’m receiving an error in Carbide Motion when running a job. The machine will initialize, home, and zero as it should, but when I start the job I get a pop-up window that says “Error - reply from auth command is not the correct length”.

I can click “ok” on the pop-up, close the window, and the machine will continue and attempt to start the job. However, the machine and app will freeze when the bit begins along its toolpath. CM shows “busy” but will respond to clicking pause/stop and will re-initialize.

I’m running CM build 579 on windows 11 and meeting minimum hardware reqs for Carbide Motion.

Has anyone else experienced this issue?

Is this when sending G-code? From what CAM program? Post the file or send it to support@carbide3d.com

Are you using Quick Actions?

Please send a message into support. This could mean that something is wrong with your electronics, or it could be a bug in CM.

Thanks for the reply, I’ve sent a message to support per your instructions. I’m using Carbide Create Pro Build 756 and not using quick actions. The error pops up when first connecting to the machine, but seems to stall out after sending the g-code and starting the job. As a test, I tried a co-worker’s laptop (mac pro) this morning and had no errors and the job ran with no problems. Any file with the Win11 laptop seems to cause the same issue. I’ve attached the file I was attempting to run when the error first occured.
