I am trying to do a multi tool carve. The first operation will be with a 3/4" bowl bit. The 2nd operation is a VCarve that I would like to have a starting height where the previous operation left off. I cannot figure out how to determine that. I know I can use ‘t’ to reference the depth of the stock. Are there other varialbes that could give me that initial depth I am looking for from the first operation?

I did read through the Carbide Create manual but could not find anything.

There is no way to calculate that as an expression. You just need to enter the same value for the depth of the first toolpath, as the starting depth of the second toolpath. If you change one, you have to remember to change the other.
