Not having used my S03 for a while I opened cc7 and produced a basic contour file. The software seemed a little unfamiliar and then when I wanted to create the G code file I found I couldnt (only available to pro users).
SoI need to know how to get my file open in CC6. Your help much appreciated, Peter
Not sure of CC v7 for the Pro or free version both work but for Pro you can save as a gcode file. If you have the free version look at this. In the tool path at the bottom is a “Save Toolpath” and then the options pop up. Since I have the pro version not sure if it is in the free CC version.
If you open the CC v7 file the toolpaths will be empty and you could try to recreate the toolpaths in v6 and save it, maybe.
Edit: In the picture attached looks like Pro Only. Sorry Dooooh!!!
Not sure if they are still giving trial pro licenses. You should check the C3D site.
If you send me your file by PM I will save your toolpaths and return them via PM. CC v7 is much better than v6 so ditch the v6 and move on to the v7.
Thanks for your suggestions Guy. While setting up to send you my file I found a line in v7 FILE dropdown menu which allows one to save the v7 file as a v6 file. So I am all sorted now. Cheers
