First project - Only 4 tries

Yep, I finished the my first project.
Took 4 tries to stumble on to what I like.
Learned a lot ( like turn on the spindle after changing bits ).

Thanks for the help !!!

A little trimming of the edges on table saw and router table to be done
I could do it on the Pro 5, but that’s another lesson.

Some things are just easier to do on other tools. You can champher and round over on the CNC but just running the thing through the router table is fast and simple. I like simple. I have seen here on the forum that try to do everything on the cnc. Most things are possible but the time spend may be valuable for the knowledge but there is also just getting the job done.

When a carpenter only has one tool, a hammer, everything looks like a nail.

I totally agree with @gdon_2003 Guy, the cnc machine is a great tool, but it’s using different tools for the jobs they are intended to be used for is where it’s at.

@jtclose James, nice looking sign. Four attempts on the first project is pretty good. Most new designs always take some time getting them the way we want.

I had something else going and half way through I thought that looked cool. My " out of thin air " is not good.

I appreciate the comment

After a lot of masking and blade work it’s time for some urethane. I will try to plan better next time to create masks using the house Scan and Cut instead of blue tape.

I got an education on many fronts
