Does the fact that a font doesn’t exist on a different platform only affect the creation of text?
ie if I use a Mac font in a design, then in my workshop open the design under Windows (which doesn’t have that font) will I be ok as long as I don’t try and edit the text at all. What happens if I do edit it, what fallback font ends up being used?
Am I still free to modify the rest of the design without having to worry?
If the font doesn’t exist on the 2nd computer it will choose a default font to display the text when you open the file. It will then recalculate the toolpaths using the new font.
Either install the font on both computers, or convert the text to curves before the transfer.
