Hi everyone. I have a Shapeoko 3, standard size, plus Dewalt router for sale.
It was bought in 2017/2018 during a Black Friday sale for around $1150. I assembled it, but realized that I didn’t have sufficient dust management for my living situation, and also moved around a lot for work. The machine is assembled, and I’ve only jogged it a few inches back and forth to test the x and z belt tensions. Everything is bone stock as you would get directly from the Carbide 3D site, plus their Dewalt router. I’m looking to sell to clear space in case I move again. Asking $900.
Thank you for your time and consideration. Edit: Pictures below, thanks!
Ryan, I am not interested in buying but I would like to give you some advise about selling machines on the internet. Set a price and work from there. When you leave the price open you will get offers from $1.00 to nothing. You may not know the price to set but you have to set a price to be successful at selling. I am not saying that people here on the forum who know what the machine is and what it is worth but in general and like for craigslist.org. Set a price and in your own mind set a price for what you will go down to. I sell a lot on craigslist and I always leave $100.00-$150.00 negotiating room so people feel like they got a good deal. So if I want $800.00 bottom line I offer it for $950.00. However I will never let it go for less than the $800.00 I set as the price in my head. Particularly on craigslist I have had no interest for a month and the first person that calls buys it for full price. The reason I get what I ask is I have investigated the market and know what my stuff is worth. Dipping a toe in the water to see if it is cold usually does not lead to a sale. You have to dive in and commit. Good Luck
