Fusion 360 PP - HDM

Another discussion inspired this question… I haven’t moved into full in production with my HDM yet but the tests I’ve done were using the generic GRBL post processor in fusion 360 with a “g4 p2” added at spindle start and tool change. Is there a better suited PP I should be using? Any features I’m missing with the generic PP that would be reason to change?

Might want to note that my previous CNC was a MakerDreams EVO one which i used with the modified generic PP.

you’ll want to use the specific Carbide 3D (GRBL) PP

everything should work and toolchanges are perfect as long as you have separate tool numbers

I also use the Carbide 3D PP. Has worked without issue for me.
