For anyone else who’s been frustrated by Fusion 360 on OSX not remembering the previous folder you saved your gcode post to, it seems this was broken (mac only) as part of a new feature.
You can enable the new nc program post preview feature, which seems quite good and stop having to re-select the target folder every time you post now, see the Autodesk thread here
