Was just having a look around to see if there are any sellers nearer
the UK selling genuine 102 cutters because, to be brutally honest,
the shipping to the UK direct from C3D at $40 is not affordable.
Whilst I won’t be using this supplier, I came across :

Cool Component UK carries an extremely limited range of C3D and they haven’t had 102s in ages. There are a couple of places in the EU but that’s not so easy to deal with nowadays.
I bought some budget cutters and they’re OK for roughing but the haven’t lasted as well as the 102. I was having a major shop clearup over the holiday and I checked all my cutters over for wear/damage and the 102 is easily the winner. I would hate to see anyone pay for a 102 but get something substandard.
I bought a 1/8" down cut bit with 1/4" shank. I have been very happy with the results for that bit. I bought it from Grizzly but dont know if they sell in the UK. The link is from the Grizzly US site.
Grizzly sells some really good stuff but also some real crap. This bit is excellent.
A US company Whiteside sells really good bits and they are on Amazon. Check with your UK Amazon to see if they offer the US made Whiteside bits. They are excellent and last a long time.
I have a bunch of C3D bits and they do work well and last a long time. However most of their bits are up cut bits and I prefer to use down cut bits.
