GRBL Board died

Greetings folks,
I believe my GRBL board has died. I have the Shapeoko 3 XXL with board v2.4e
The light on the power supply is on, but the light on the board isn’t. No motion, no sound, no lights, no USB connected sound from the PC. Multimeter on the pins of the power supply are showing 24 volts. Looks like replacement is still available for this older model. Anything I’m missing on the troubleshooting before I pony up the $100 new board?

Sounds like you have done the due diligence. I am not sure but the last time I got a new controller it was $150.00. However that is between you and C3D. You might want to email support and let them help you troubleshoot. It might save you money. But if it is the board they can help you get a new one ordered. Depending on how old your machine is the newer ones have the connector for the BitRunner and a new case. I had a 2016 machine and the original controller was mounted on a big block of aluminum heat sink. On the newer boards you remove the case, controller and the heat sink and secure your board directly to the Y rail (XXL/XL) with heat sink tape and the new case fits over the new board. All the new case and stuff may be why the new board is more because it is not just the board. Be sure you can identify how your board is mounted and that might save you money if you have a newer style case/board.
