Hi guys I am playing with making shapes to cutout in carbide create. But when I make the tool path half of the lines use the wrong side of the line?
So on outer contour half of the tool path is inside the shape and half is on outside? Anyone know how to fix this?
Post your file. Without more information it is impossible to help.
It sounds like you might have a twisted node. If you go to node edit, do you see one wrapping around itself.
A no-offset contour will by definition be half inside and half outside.
If you have unconnected geometry what you describe can happen with inside or outside toolpaths.
Posting the file would allow us to do more than guess.

Are you working with open (magenta colored) curves? “Inside” and “outside” are not well-defined for open curves.
You likely want to close the curves, then build the toolpath.
I got how to fix it from your advice! Ty guys I snipped my shape saved as png then upload and trace!
