How did you pull off the very square letter corners ? very acute vbit ?

I would have used my 20-degree v-bit myself.

Hello everyone! I used two Amana bits that came with starter pack. The v-bit (60 degree I think?) and the 46200k, which is a small bit. I almost always do an advanced vcarve with a pocket option.

Very nice. How did you finish it? I cannot tell from the pic if those are raised letters with vinyl or if they are painted pockets.

I cut 1/8th inch down with an advanced vcarve and a pocket. Then I just roughly paint in the letters with a acrylic paint. Once the paint dries (I usually dry with a hair dryer) I then take an orbital sander to the surface to remove any paint outside the cut letters.

I hope that makes sense!
