I’m looking to V-carve the letters for a Ouija board however I’ve ran into a problem
Does anyone know what’s causing this? I’ve tried changing the feed rate between 25-45 and no change.
This is the current toolpath I have set. Depth of cut at 0.07". The other this that is weird is that I have used this program before with little to no problems. not sure what is causing it now.
Looks like mechanical issues.
Which machine do you have? Is it mechanically sound?
Also, are all the wiring and connectors in good condition and secure?
I have the Shapeoko 5 pro. I’ve checked and everything seems mechanically sound. Everything is square, all bolts/screws are tight.
After jogging the machine around to see if anything was out. I noticed the right side of the machine moves slightly before the left side. Though when I powered off the machine I couldn’t find any couple slippage.
Is your work piece moving?
Disconnect the right side motor and try to jog. Is the left side motor working?
I’ve got the zip ties all over as well 
I have found this issue. It was the coupler on the left Y axis had come apart by a bit but was no longer slipping. So when I watched the machine everything look fine but one side was just out of whack. I took both couplers apart and re screwed them and everything is working as it should.
